\\ goodness of human nature
biding my time before joshua wisks me away for a night of rock and roll
with counting heartbeats, i am going over the events of the day.
here let me let you know what happened in aidan-land:
a) i rode my bicycle to work
b) that bicycle ride was very cold; the season is changing!
c) i was listening to sufjan stevens, because it's the best
d) i had fun at work, and played an amplifier i really like
e) i don't have money for it
f) i finished work and went to urge to see joshua
g) joshua is getting a beautiful sleeve in memory of his late mother
h) i came home and my mother was in a bad mood
i) what else is new?
j) i ate some chicken noodle soup, which is the best for cold weather
k) now i am typing here, and waiting to talk via the internet
and that brings us right up to date. eventful day, mhm.
oh! before i forget.. last night i watched the second of three movies
i rented from my favourite video store: YO video.
i already watched the big lebowski, if you haven't yet: DO.
it rules so hard. so hard.
last night i watched sling blade. written, directed, and starring
billy bob thornton, you'd figure it would be a glorious ego boost or
at least a flattering film. the story is about a troubled handicap man
who killed his mother (and a deviant lover) when he was twelve, and
is released back into his old community. he befriends a young boy,
and the story shifts to the bond that they share, and shows the
goodness of human nature and how profound love can be, even when
it affects total strangers. i've heard such mixed reviews, but i really
enjoyed the film AND the soundtrack (which was surprisingly done by
daniel lanois. YES!)
other films that aidan knight wants to see:
the squid and the whale
capote
broken flowers
walk the line (!!!)
harry potter and the goblet of fire
corpse bride
the man who wasn't there
good luck and good night
syriana (possibly..)
get rich or die tryin (with mr devlan roy when he's back)

7 play dates:
I too want to see Walk The Line and Broken Flowers.
Corpse Bride was awesome.
i've never met another living soul who'd heard of that irish movie. you really do watch A LOT of movies.
9 a.m. and the countdown to my chipmunk cheeks begins. eeeeek.
can't talk, got to watch more moviiiies.
i can't wait to see the squid and the whale. i've got a list longer then yours that i need to catch up on. high fidelity is right at the top.
i doubt that your list is longer than mine.
but i've seen a lot of movies.. so that's a factor!
ps. watched 3 movies last night (one was three episodes of desperate housewives, but still...)
instead of checking something off my list... i watched amelie again... somedays it just can't be helped.
